I have been using the M4 motorway into London for nearly 20 years although fortunately I not have to commute every day these days and work from home more now.

It seems to me that on average the M4 is less busy these days than it used to be say 5 or 10 years ago in peak periods (on average).

Could just be that after half term and much quieter roads over this half term there is a feel good factor but I expected it to be much worse this morning as half term is over now.

Is that other M4 user experiences or is it that maybe I am getting older and maybe a bit more patient (most of the time!)

Interest to see what other M4 users think...
