How to Search and Filter Today’s News

Every all-news page on our websites works the same way. Start with the full list for today, then narrow it down:

• Search box: type a place name, a junction number or a word such as “closure” to search the whole list.
• Junction: choose the junction you are travelling from or to, and see only the news for that stretch.
• Direction: pick the carriageway you will be on, such as northbound or southbound, clockwise or anticlockwise, and hide the side you are not driving.
• Type of news: show only accidents and incidents, or only roadworks, including roadworks planned for later today and tonight.
• Road: on Traffic News England, choose a motorway or A road to search just that road.
